Joshua Smith

Joshua Smith has over 17 years of work experience in the software engineering field. Joshua began their career in 2003 as a Software Engineer at C3 Media. In 2006, they joined QUALIO as a Production Director where they worked on SiteStamp, a tracking pixel/beacon and snippet manager, Jackson Hewitt Contest App, and Freixenet Tasting App. In 2012, Joshua moved to Smith Drug Company as a Web Application Developer where they created a custom, in-house customer acquisition platform. In 2019, they joined My Payment Network as a Senior Full Stack Engineer, working on a multi-tenant SaaS solution offering real-time card and check payment processing. Their most recent role is at ChartSpan Medical Technologies, where they are the Director of Software Engineering and Engineering Manager. In this role, Joshua is responsible for managing offshore and onshore teams, implementing and maintaining software quality and delivery, and mentoring junior engineers.

Joshua Smith has attended Greenville Technical College. Joshua also holds an AWS Certified Developer – Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS), which they obtained in October 2020.
