Ilana Hipshman Lmsw

Ilana Hipshman, LMSW, is a dedicated professional in the field of behavioral health, currently serving as a Behavioral Health Specialist at Chase Brexton Health Care since April 2021. Prior experience includes working as an Outpatient Therapist at Brighter Future Counseling Services, LLC, where focus areas encompassed the LGBTQIA population, eating disorders, and mental health challenges such as depression and anxiety. Ilana served as Project Coordinator at UMBC, facilitating programs aimed at enhancing transfer student success in Computing and Engineering, with an emphasis on diversity. Additionally, work as Community School and Latinx Liaison for Maryland District 46 involved collaborating with local schools to foster advocacy and engagement, while service as a Peace Corps Volunteer included significant contributions to gender equity and community health initiatives abroad.
