Dee Smith

Dee Smith serves as Board Chair for the LLILAS/Benson Latin American Studies and Collections at the University of Texas at Austin since February 2020, with previous roles including Vice Chairman of the Board and Immediate Past President of the Board for the Dallas Committee on Foreign Relations. As the CEO and Principal of Strategic Insight Group since 1995, Dee leads a global private intelligence agency catering to the investor community. Additionally, Dee is the Executive Producer, Creator, Writer, and Host of "A World On The Brink," a television series produced by Real Vision Television, and is actively involved with several organizations, including Chatham House and the Council on Foreign Relations. Dee's extensive experience spans various capacities in foreign policy, intelligence, and international relations, showcasing a commitment to fostering understanding and dialogue in these critical fields.
