Melanie Schaefer

Melanie Schaefer, MS, LAT, ATC, currently serves as the Assistant Athletic Trainer for Chattanooga Football Club since February 2024. Prior experience includes serving as an Athletic Trainer at the Center for Sports Medicine & Orthopaedics from February 2023 to February 2024, and various roles as an Assistant Athletic Trainer for women's soccer and volleyball at the University of North Alabama from August 2020 to January 2023. Melanie's background also features experiences as a Student Athletic Trainer for Chattanooga Red Wolves SC in March 2020 and an Athletic Training Intern with Chattanooga Football Club from February 2017 to February 2020. Melanie received a Master's degree in Athletic Training from The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga in 2020, following a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science from the same institution in 2017. Additional roles include retail and assistance positions in various organizations throughout Melanie's career.
