Clay Bennett

Clay Bennett is an accomplished editorial cartoonist with extensive experience in the field, currently working at the Chattanooga Times Free Press since December 2007. Prior to this role, Bennett contributed to The Christian Science Monitor from January 1998 to November 2007 and the Tampa Bay Times - Times Publishing Co from October 1981 to October 1994. Earlier positions included serving as an editorial cartoonist and staff artist for Fayetteville Times in 1981 and as a staff artist for Pittsburgh Post-Gazette in late 1980. Bennett holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Commercial Art and History from the University of North Alabama, completed in 1980.
