Amanda Sherred

Amanda Sherred has extensive work experience in the pharmacy field. Amanda currently holds the position of Corporate Director of Pharmacy Clinical Integration at Community Hospital Corporation, starting in 2019. Prior to this role, Amanda served as a Clinical Pharmacy Coordinator at Baylor Scott & White Medical Center - Centennial from March 2018 to November 2018, where they were responsible for information system development and ensuring regulatory compliance. From April 2013 to February 2017, they worked as a Clinical Informatics Pharmacist at the same organization, overseeing the implementation of Cerner's Electronic Health Record and managing pharmacy systems interfaces. Before joining Baylor Scott & White, Amanda gained experience as a Clinical Pharmacist at Centennial Medical Center - Tenet Healthcare from October 2007 to April 2013, where they were involved in medication order management and various committee participation. Amanda also worked as a Clinical Pharmacist in the Emergency Department at Parkland Hospital from December 2004 to September 2007, ensuring medication appropriateness and providing drug information. Amanda started their career as a Clinical Pharmacist at Medical Center of Lewisville in July 2004.

Amanda Sherred began their education at Florida Southern College, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from 1995 to 1998. Following this, they attended the University of Central Florida from 1998 to 1999, earning a Master of Science in Health Services Administration. Finally, they attended the University of Florida from 2000 to 2004, where they obtained their Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree.
