Matthew Brown

Matthew Brown is an accomplished Managing Director with extensive experience in the foodservice and hospitality industries. Currently serving as Managing Director at CH&CO since December 2022, Matthew previously held the position of Chief Sales and Marketing Officer at OUTCO from April 2021 to November 2022. In a prior role as Managing Director at Compass Group Chartwells Independent + Universities, Matthew was responsible for the Higher Education and Independent sectors, overseeing all business aspects. Matthew’s career includes various leadership positions within Compass Group, including Managing Director ICM and Business Director, where strategic planning, financial management, and client negotiations were key responsibilities. Earlier experience also includes serving as General Manager at Tesco and Operations Director at Aramark, starting the career in strategic projects and catering management. Matthew earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Sunderland.
