Fernando Luis Barros Villanueva

Fernando Luis Barros Villanueva is an experienced electrical engineer with a strong background in project formulation, design, and construction within the energy sector. Currently employed at CHEC Grupo EPM as a Profesional 2 in the formulation and design team since February 2022, Fernando has also held various significant roles at Compañía Energética de Occidente, EMCALI EICE ESP, CENTRAL HIDROELECTRICA DE CALDAS, and other organizations, contributing to the development and management of major electrical infrastructure projects. Fernando holds a Master in Renewable Energies from EALDE Business School, a minor in Informatics from Universidad del Norte, and a degree in Electrical Engineering from the same institution, completed in 1996.
