Juan Alzate has extensive experience in the energy sector, currently serving as Jefe de área gestión tecnología at CHEC Grupo EPM since November 2006, where responsibilities include leading and managing the technological roadmap and ensuring effective technology utilization. Previous roles at CHEC include Director de proyecto pérdidas de energía, where project management focused on energy loss reduction and tool implementation, and Subgerente Distribución de Energía, overseeing distribution plans and policies adherence. Early experience includes work as Ingeniero Interventor at GENSA S.A. E.S.P. Juan Alzate holds an Ingeniero Electricista degree from Universidad Nacional de Colombia, a Specialization in Systems of Transmission and Distribution from Universidad de Los Andes, and a Business Intelligence degree from Universidad Pontificia Bolivariana.
