Juan David Serna Valencia

Juan David Serna Valencia has extensive experience in the electrical and maintenance fields, currently serving as the maintenance team coordinator at CHEC Grupo EPM since October 2016. Responsibilities include maintenance, configuration, testing, and adjustments of electrical protections for various voltage systems, as well as overseeing the maintenance procedures for substations. Previously, Juan worked as an analyst and project coordinator at Red Ingelcom, where design and implementation of electrical systems and budgeting were key tasks. Juan also gained foundational experience during an internship at CHEC S.A. E.S.P, focusing on developing a maintenance management plan. Academic qualifications include a degree in Electrical Engineering from Universidad Nacional de Colombia, supplemented by technology specialization in quality management and maintenance management from Servicio Nacional de Aprendizaje (SENA).
