Deryck Mitchelson

Deryck Mitchelson is an experienced cybersecurity leader currently serving as the Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) Community at the World Economic Forum and as Vice-chair of the Scottish Government's National Cyber Advisory Board. Deryck has held significant roles including Global Chief Information Security Officer at Check Point Software Technologies and Director of National Digital and CISO at NHS National Services Scotland, overseeing large teams and multiyear transformation portfolios. Previous positions include Global VP IT at Wood Mackenzie, Head of IT at the Scottish Prison Service, and various IT leadership roles at DC Thomson and brightsolid. Deryck holds a BSc Hons in Management Accountancy and Computer Science from the University of Dundee.
