Howard Porter

Howard Porter currently serves as the Head of SMB for ANZ at Check Point Software Technologies Ltd since January 2023. Previously, Howard held various leadership roles at VMware from 2007 to April 2020, including Distribution Leader for Asia Pacific & Japan, where notable contributions included leading partner onboarding and optimizing global distribution strategies. Prior experience encompasses positions in companies such as Symantec, PeopleSoft, Madaboutwine.com, Novell, and Cellarmaster Wines, demonstrating a diverse background in sales, marketing, and channel management across multiple sectors. Howard holds a Bachelor of Business in Marketing from the University of Technology Sydney, alongside ongoing education at Stanford University and various credentials from the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
