Amy Troschinetz

Amy Troschinetz is a software developer at Check. Amy has previously worked as a senior backend engineer at GitLab Inc., a lead software engineer at InVision, and a software engineer II at RetailMeNot, Inc.

At GitLab, Amy maintained the DevOps infrastructure while adding new features such as Feature Flags. Amy also created the solution and a video demo for Green-Blue deployments with GitLab CI.

At InVision, Amy built and maintained InVision Studio with TypeScript utilizing React and Electron. Amy also led the Platform team in initial design through to delivery of third-party plugins for Studio. In addition, Amy organized and mentored five separate squads in development of Studio Runtime to support the next generation cloud-native platform.

At RetailMeNot, Amy instrumented the iOS application with event tracking and built a new Products centric UI feature. Amy also prototyped a “Buy Now” button using Stripe.js, a cross-device embeddable payment form. In addition, Amy implemented a realtime high availability data pipeline using Kinesis and Storm. Amy also optimized Veg-o-Matic, a SQL based data slicing and reporting tool for A/B testing. Finally, Amy architected aggregation service built on Druid.io, an OLAP realtime datastore.

Amy Troschinetz has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Texas A&M University. Amy also has a certification from LinkedIn in Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging for All.
