Lauren Ferrara

Lauren Ferrara is an experienced technology professional currently serving as R&D Director at Check since August 2021, where additional roles have included Head of Growth Platform, Engineering Manager, Staff Software Engineer, and Senior Software Engineer. Prior to Check, Lauren worked as a Software Engineer at Bloomberg LP from July 2018 to August 2021, contributing to the Bloomberg Buy-Side OMS solution. Earlier experience includes a Software Engineer position at Amazon Robotics and a Researcher role at eMotion & eCognition Lab, where extensive projects involved text analysis for law enforcement and therapeutic robotics for children with autism. Lauren earned a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Notre Dame.
