Luke Genung

Luke Genung has a strong background in analytics and business intelligence. Luke started their career as a Research Assistant at UC Santa Barbara, conducting interviews and surveys for academic studies on issues facing local youth populations. Luke then joined LRW as a Business Intelligence Analyst, where they led Python development for the company's in-house dashboard and managed a team of analysts. After that, they became a Senior Business Intelligence Engineer at Teradata, where they led product and finance analytics and developed comprehensive financial reporting. Most recently, they worked at Sidecar Health as a Senior Analytics Engineer, co-launching the business analytics department and building the company's entire analytics layer. Currently, they are a Staff Analytics Engineer at Check, where they are a founding analytics engineer.

Luke Genung attended UC Santa Barbara from an unknown start date to 2012, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Sociology. Later, they enrolled in Product School and completed coursework in Product Management from an unknown start date to 2017. Additionally, Luke obtained several certifications, including a Machine Learning Specialization from Coursera in November 2022, dbt Fundamentals from dbt Labs in May 2022, Vantage Certified Associate - 1.1 from Teradata in December 2020, Exam 70-778: Analyzing and Visualizing Data with Power BI from Microsoft in December 2018, and a Software Product Management (SPM®) Certificate from Product School in January 2017.
