Jaime Macaya

Jaime Macaya is a Chilean business executive who is currently the co-founder and CEO of Checkars. Prior to this, they worked as the Director of OLX Autos Latam, where they were responsible for heading the Cars Category for Latam, overseeing both general health objectives and leading the region's B2C commercial effort. Before that, they were an Engagement Manager at Evolution Partners Management Consulting, where they supported and reported directly into the firm's two Executive Directors, headed project teams, and oversaw the work of junior consultants. Jaime began their career as a Senior Project Manager at Monitor Deloitte (ex Monitor Group) in 2005. Jaime then went on to complete an MBA at Athelera in 2009.

Jaime Macaya began their educational career at Y Combinator in the winter of 2020. They then went on to earn their MBA from Columbia Business School. Prior to that, they completed their BA in International Relations from Universidad Torcuato Di Tella. Jaime also participated in an exchange program at Sciences Po, where they studied political science.
