Jay Pung

Jay Pung has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Jay started their career as a Software Engineer at Fusionex International in 2015 and then moved on to work as a Junior Software Engineer at iMocha Sdn Bhd in 2016. In 2017, they joined Ekova System Sdn Bhd as a Software Engineer and later progressed to the role of Lead Software Engineer and Technical Advisor. At Ekova System Sdn Bhd, they specialized in data center monitoring solutions and worked on maintaining and improving a desktop application built with Delphi 6 and .Net 2.

In 2019, Jay joined Context Analytics, Inc. (CA)- Social Market Analytics, Inc. (SMA) as a Software Engineer. During their time there, they primarily focused on data parsing and led a project involving extracting data from PDFs accurately. Jay also built a custom JSON data comparison tool and managed AWS EC2 instances and Lambdas.

In 2022, Jay began working as a Full Stack Engineer at Checkbox, where they are currently employed. Additionally, they have worked as a Full Stack Engineer at Generation Esports and PathDAO in 2022, contributing to the development of an esports tournament platform and a gameFi + social platform respectively.
