Jorge Romero

Jorge Romero has a diverse work experience spanning multiple fields and roles. Jorge is currently working as a Solution Engineer LATAM at Checkmarx since November 2021. Prior to this, Jorge worked at Micro Focus for almost a decade, from September 2012 to October 2021, as a Security Sales Engineer covering HLA Norte - Colombia, Centro América y el Caribe.

Before Micro Focus, Jorge worked at SOAIN Software Associates as a Senior Consultant specializing in identity management from August 2009 to August 2012. Jorge also held the title of Technical Leader during this time.

From November 2006 to August 2009, Jorge worked at Softbolivar as a Senior Consultant, where they were responsible for technical leadership, security consulting, and identity management consulting.

Jorge's career started in 2006 at Netcom S.A. as a Consultant, focusing on SOA and EAI development. Jorge then moved to Empresa Paradigma Ltda as a Consultant specializing in EAI and SOA consulting from an unspecified date in 2005 to 2006.
