Nélson Fânzeres

Nélson Fânzeres has a diverse work experience spanning different roles and industries. Nélson started their career as a Freelancer, working as an Embroidery Designer from 2008 to 2012. Nélson then joined CCG - Centro de Computação Gráfica as a Software Developer in 2014. In 2015, they became a Software Development Manager at SearchingEssence, where they worked until 2018. Nélson then transitioned to Checkmarx, where they held multiple roles. Nélson started as a Professional Services Engineer from 2018 to 2020, then became an Application Security Engineer from 2020 to 2021. Currently, they serve as a Product Manager at Checkmarx.

Nélson Fânzeres completed their education in a chronological order. Nélson began by attending the Instituto Nun'Alvres from 1996 to 2007, where they obtained their Ensino Secundário degree with a focus on Ciências e Tecnologias. Following that, from 2002 to 2008, they studied Piano at ARTAVE: Centro de Cultura Musical. Afterward, they attended Externato Delfim Ferreira from 2007 to 2010, earning another Ensino Secundário degree, this time with a specialization in Ciências e Tecnologias.

In 2010, Nélson briefly enrolled in the Faculdade de Ciências da Universidade do Porto for Computer Science. However, they transferred to the Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto the following year, where they pursued their degree in Computer Engineering. Nélson remained there until 2016 when they successfully completed their studies in this field.

Additionally, Nélson Fânzeres has acquired two additional certifications. In 2014, they obtained an Advanced iOS certification from ISEP - Instituto Superior de Engenharia do Porto. In September 2021, they earned the Product Management PMC-I Certified credential from Pragmatic Institute.
