Roshan Gorasia

Roshan Gorasia has a diverse work experience in the field of software engineering. Roshan started their career in 2014 at demoMedia, where they tested a new events management software called Eventogy, identified bugs, and documented them for developers. In 2017, Roshan worked as a software engineer at ONLICAR, where they completed a software development internship and created Python scripts for API calls and SMS scheduling using the Twilio library. In 2018, they joined Visa as a software engineer, focusing on developing the OVN platform using Go, Docker, Kafka, Cassandra, and Kubernetes. Roshan'srole involved working in an Agile environment and participating in agile ceremonies. Finally, in 2020, Roshan joined Checkout.com as an Engineering Manager, responsible for leading a team and contributing as a software engineer.

Roshan Gorasia obtained a degree in Computer Science (Software Engineering) from the University of Hertfordshire. Roshan attended the university from 2015 to 2018. In addition to their degree, Roshan has obtained several certifications. Roshan became a Licensed Interviewer through SocialTalent in January 2023. In June 2022, they completed the Essential Management Skills certification from The CPD Certification Service. Roshan also obtained the Mental Health First Aider certification from Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) England in March 2019. Lastly, in October 2018, they became an ISTQB® Certified Tester - Foundation Level through the ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualifications Board.
