Chrissy Verhoff Anderson has worked in a variety of roles since 2013. Chrissy began their career as a Web Design/Coding Intern at The National Museum of American History. In 2014, they worked as an Engineering Intern at Siemens, where they conceptualized a low-cost mechatronic training system and developed a curriculum for Mechanics and Machine Elements course. In 2015, they worked as an Operations Engineering Intern at Stryker, where they performed a global aggregate spend analysis and implemented a new process to approve and document last-time buys. In 2016, they worked as a Project Engineer, Productivity Improvement Focal at QuEST Global, where they tracked commercial flight software programs and trained new employees to carry out tracking and analysis responsibilities for project. In 2018, they worked as a Design Engineer at Caterpillar Inc., where they investigated field failures to identify root causes and implemented over 100 spatial integration design solutions for current product hydraulics and engine installation systems. Currently, they are working as a Product Development Engineer at Checkpoint Surgical.
Chrissy Verhoff Anderson began their educational journey in 2007 when they graduated from Homestead High School with a Diploma with Academic Honors. Chrissy then attended Purdue University, where they obtained a BSME in Mechanical Engineering in 2016. In 2018, they returned to Purdue University to pursue a Master of Engineering in Interdisciplinary Engineering, with a concentration in Biomedical Engineering, which they completed in 2020.
