Blaine Reid

Blaine Reid began their work experience in 2017 as a Lead Designer at Superstition Components, where they worked until June 2019. In 2022, they joined AquaVets as a Storm water abatement install tech from January to June. Following this, they worked as a Web Developer at Mythic Table, starting in February. Currently, they are a Software Engineer Intern at Checkr, Inc. since May 2022 and later transitioned into a Software Engineer 1 role in July 2022.

Blaine Reid's education history includes various certificates and a period of study at different institutions. In 1999, Blaine began studying Computer Graphics at the Academy of Art University, where they completed 1.5 years of study until 2001. In 2020, Blaine obtained a Certificate in Full Stack Web Development from Persevere, which lasted until 2021. The same year, Blaine earned additional certifications in Responsive Web Design and JavaScript Algorithms and Data Structures from Persevere. In 2022, Blaine attended Columbia University and completed a Certificate program in Web Development with Python/Django. Additionally, Blaine has obtained certifications in multiple subjects such as algorithmic design and techniques, JavaScript (basic and intermediate), Python (basic), React (basic), APIs and Microservice, Data Visualization, Front-End Libraries, Information Security and Quality Assurance. The most recent certification was the Algorithmic Design and Techniques certification obtained from edX in February 2023. In 2011, Blaine obtained a CompTIA IT Fundamentals certification.
