Sophia Hilliard-Arce

Sophia Hilliard-Arce has a diverse work experience spanning several companies and roles. Sophia currently works at Checkr, Inc. as a Product Manager, where they serve as the product lead for Checkr's Motor Vehicle Records. Prior to this role, they worked at Checkr as a Product Quality & Operations professional.

Before joining Checkr, Sophia worked at IBM in various consulting roles. Sophia was a Managing Consultant from January 2020 to May 2021, a Senior Consultant from September 2017 to December 2019, and a Consultant from September 2015 to August 2017.

Sophia also gained experience in the finance industry as a Sales & Trading Summer Analyst at Wells Fargo Securities in 2014.

In 2013, Sophia interned at Accelerance, Inc. as a Business Development Intern. During their internship, they completed assessment reports for software development firms in Ukraine, Vietnam, Nepal, and the Philippines. Accelerance is a consulting firm that specializes in global software outsourcing and provides guidance in planning, sourcing, and managing global teams.

Early in their career, Sophia worked as a Teaching Assistant at Acción Emprendedora from August 2011 to December 2011.

Sophia Hilliard-Arce completed their Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree from the UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School between 2013 and 2015. Sophia pursued their undergraduate studies in Business Administration & Economics at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 2011 to 2015. Prior to their university education, Sophia attended the Charlotte Latin School from 2007 to 2011.

In addition to their formal education, Sophia Hilliard-Arce obtained a certification in Life Sciences Industry Foundations from IBM in April 2018.
