Position Overview:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Trust and Safety professional to join our team. The Trust and Safety Manager will play a critical role in the advancement, development and implementation of scalable Trust & Safety platforms.

This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead Checkstep’s efforts in supporting online platforms in making the internet healthier and safer. 

We are looking for an individual with exceptional communication capabilities, solid project management skills, strong stakeholder management and product experience, capable of effectively engaging diverse audiences and adeptly promoting our product.

Location:

Remote; work from anywhere in the world.

Responsibilities:

1. Key contributor in the full sales cycle together with the Sales team, from showcasing the product and capabilities to onboarding new customers.

2. Drive and maintain the relationship with existing customers, ensuring their satisfaction while leveraging feedback and insights into the product development.

3. Developing, prioritising and executing the product strategy in close collaboration with the technical team.

4. Promote Checkstep’s thought leadership through a range of online and in-person events.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience (5+ years) in a Trust & Safety role at an online platform in Product, Development or Operations. Policy development experience is a plus.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, experience with remote working is a plus.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data and metrics to drive decision-making and process improvement. Understanding of foundational machine learning concepts is a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to evolving priorities and challenges.
• Good knowledge of online safety regulations, particularly the Digital Services Act (DSA).
