Deeptesh Patel

Deeptesh Patel has extensive work experience in software engineering and management roles. Deeptesh is currently working as the Director of Software Engineering at Chefman since January 2022. Before that, they served as the Software Engineering Manager at Chefman from July 2020 to January 2022. Prior to their tenure at Chefman, Patel worked at LogMeIn from September 2018 to July 2020, where they held the position of Engineering Manager, Product Platform and was responsible for managing the Bridge Platform team. Deeptesh also served as a Staff Software Engineer at LogMeIn from February 2017 to September 2018, where they mentored junior engineers and led the design and implementation of various features on the audio platform. Before LogMeIn, Patel worked at Citrix as a Staff Software Engineer from July 2012 to February 2017, where they played a key role in designing and implementing a highly distributed and scalable audio platform. Deeptesh began their career at Dialogic Corporation as a Senior Software Engineer from October 2006 to February 2012, where they contributed to the development of the Global Call and R4 family of API. Prior to that, they worked at Intel as a Senior Software Engineer from June 1999 to September 2006, specializing in call control and implementing various API features for different signaling protocols. Patel also worked at Dialogic Corporation as a Firmware Engineer from April 1996 to June 1999, where they resolved customer issues and designed features for high-density boards.

Deeptesh Patel has a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from Stevens Institute of Technology. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Computer Engineering, also from Stevens Institute of Technology. In addition to their formal education, Patel has obtained several certifications, including "Lean Technology Strategy: Building High-Performing Teams" from LinkedIn, acquired in March 2020, and "Developing Adaptable Employees" and "Developing Adaptable Managers" from LinkedIn, both obtained in December 2019.
