Denise Ortega

Denise Ortega serves as the Technical Project Lead at Chelsea City Hall, MA, since May 2022, with over a decade of experience in various local government agencies. In this role, Denise has successfully defined, planned, and directed numerous technical projects while managing competing demands related to scope, time, cost, and risk. Prior to this position, Denise worked as the IT & Communications Specialist for the Somerville Police, where responsibilities included website system administration and redeveloping the police department's online presence. Earlier experience includes serving as a Computer Service Technician at the NYC Office of Administrative Trials & Hearings, leading technical support efforts during a major office relocation. Denise holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Studio Art and Comparative Literature from Hamilton College and has completed a Continuing Education Certificate in Graphic and Web Design from Hunter College.
