Peter Frankopan

Peter Frankopan is a Professor of Global History at the University of Oxford, where Peter has been a Senior Research Fellow at Worcester College since 2000. Peter is also the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Director at the Oxford Centre for Byzantine Research. Apart from their academic roles, Peter is the Chairman of A Curious Group of Hotels and is involved in various other organizations such as UNESCO, UNIDO, and the Cundill History Prize. Peter holds a BA in History from the University of Cambridge and a PhD in History from the University of Oxford.
