Rien Raymaekers

Rien Raymaekers has a diverse background in engineering and organizational development, currently working as a Chemelot trainee at Chemelot since October 2018, where assignments span multiple companies and include training opportunities. As a Chemical Engineer at Sitech IAZI B.V. since February 2020, Rien focuses on optimizing biological water treatment processes by leveraging knowledge from various sources. Prior experience includes serving as DRIVE Coordinator at ARLANXEO, facilitating organizational improvements, and contributing to sustainability efforts at Sitech Services. Rien also completed a PhD at the University of Leuven from October 2016 to September 2018, researching zeolite properties in hyper-alkaline environments. Educational qualifications were obtained from KU Leuven between 2011 and 2016.
