Gazie Decker-Iheanacho

Gazie holds a BSc. in Mechanical Engineering from the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science & Technology, Ghana and CIM Marketing Leadership Programme post graduate qualification from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (CIM), UK. He is an affiliate member of the Chartered Institute of Marketing and also an alumni of Cambridge Marketing College, UK.

He began his career at Cadbury Ghana as an engineer and after a very brief stint moved to assistant brand manager and brand manager roles. He played major roles in key initiatives such as the re-positioning and rebranding of Cadbury Ghana’s flagship brand Richoco cocoa beverage, the development of Cadbury Hot Chocolate 3-in-1 which drove considerable growth in revenues and various brand, insights & innovation projects.

He moved on to PZ Cussons in 2013 working in various marketing roles in Ghana, Nigeria and UK where he worked as part of the company’s global marketing team developing category & brand strategies for African, European and Asian markets. As Head of Brand Development & Activation at PZ Cussons Ghana, he helped drive Robb Sweets to a leading brand within the candy market. His last role with PZ Cussons was based in Nigeria as Head of Category leading strategy development for dish wash and fabric care categories for the African market before joining UAC of Nigeria Plc. in January 2019 as General Manager, Marketing for paints. Gazie is a big fan of outdoor activities, loves adventure and nature. He also enjoys watching football, listening to music and playing the piano/ keyboard.
