Doina Nistor

Current chief of party (COP) on our Moldova Future Technologies Activity, Doina Nistor is a private sector development specialist with more than 15 years of experience building large-scale public-private partnerships, deploying digital transformation, and promoting innovation-based entrepreneurship with an emphasis on the wine, tourism, light industry manufacturing, ICT, engineering, and creative sectors. An experienced COP on economic development projects, she has managed nearly $80 million worth of technical assistance, resulting in upgrades in technology, skills, market linkages, and business enabling environment factors which led to over $175 million in revenue growth for SMEs. She is skilled in local capacity building, building partnerships to develop innovation-based entrepreneurship-focused solutions, and has experience improving the competitiveness of value chains and leading policies in the ICT sector. Doina is a Ph.D. candidate in enterprise management from the Technical University of Moldova and holds a Bachelor of Arts and master’s equivalent in International Economic Relations from the Academy of Economic Studies in Moldova. Doina will serve on the Corporate Strategy Committee of the Board of Directors.
