Hashani Chithrangani

Hashani Chithrangani is a dedicated professional with extensive experience in gender equality and social inclusion. Currently serving as a Gender and Social Inclusion Specialist at Chemonics International and as a Gender Equality and Social Inclusion Specialist for the USAID Efficient & Effective Justice Program, Hashani has also held roles such as Coordinator at the Bar Association of Sri Lanka and Consultant for the International Republican Institute and Sunila Women and Children Development Foundation. Prior experience includes a role as a Researcher at the Centre for Monitoring Election Violence. Hashani Chithrangani earned a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from the Open University of Sri Lanka and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Social Sciences from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura.
