Julie Becker

SVP, Global Health at Chemonics

Julie Becker is currently the senior vice president of Chemonics’ Global Health Division. Ms. Becker has over 25 years of global health experience in the nonprofit and private sectors, with extensive on-the-ground experience in sub-Saharan Africa, Asia, Latin America, the Caribbean, and the U.S. Most recently she was an executive vice president at Rabin Martin where she supported the firm’s engagements with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and private companies. She directed a team focused on design, implementation, and evaluation of large-scale programs to reduce the burden of maternal mortality around the world as part of a $500 million corporate responsibility initiative, Merck for Mothers, and led the development of the initiative’s family planning strategy and portfolio of health facility and community investments. She also managed other engagements related to immunization, women’s health, stakeholder engagement, and health worker capacity building. Ms. Becker has an Sc.M. in public health, behavioral science from the Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health.
