Burcu Aker

Burcu Aker has a diverse work experience in various companies and roles. Burcu currently works at Chemstations as the Head of Accounts for Western Europe. In this role, they are responsible for coordinating business operations in Western and Central Europe, focusing on customer satisfaction and increasing software usage. Burcu assesses the needs of CHEMCAD users in the region and collaborates with software development and technical support teams to provide solutions.

Before joining Chemstations, Burcu served as the Chief Operating Officer at Chemstations Europe GmbH and CGC Capital-Gain Consultants GmbH from 2021 to 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Process Engineer in the same companies from 2018 to 2021.

Burcu also has experience at PrimeUnit GmbH, where they co-founded the company and served as a Chemical Process Engineer from 2014 to 2021. Additionally, they worked as a Junior Process Engineer at Chemstations Europe GmbH from 2013 to 2014.

Burcu's early career began with an internship at Henkel in 2009, where they worked in sales and surface treatment.

Burcu Aker completed their Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from Boğaziçi University from 2006 to 2011. Subsequently, from 2011 to 2015, they pursued their Master of Science (M.Sc.) degree in Process, Energy and Environmental Systems Engineering from Technische Universität Berlin.
