Melinda Rees

Melinda Rees, MA Ed has extensive work experience in various roles and industries. Melinda is currently the Director of Talent Acquisition & Development at Chemtrade. Prior to that, they worked at IKO Industries where they held the positions of HR Director, Business Services (Canada) & Talent Development (North America), Training & Organizational Development Manager, and Manager, Learning & Development. Earlier in their career, Melinda worked at Maple Leaf Foods Inc in roles such as Manager, Learning & Development, Manager, Consumer Engagement (Training), Sourcing Manager, Indirect Purchasing, Production Supervisor (Management Trainee), Senior Business Analyst, Consumer Affairs (Management Trainee), and Supply Chain Analyst (Management Trainee). Throughout their career, Melinda has demonstrated leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to implement effective HR and training strategies.

Melinda Rees, MA Ed has a Master of Arts degree in Education, with a focus on Adult Education & Community College from Central Michigan University. Melinda also holds a degree in Marketing Foundations from the Schulich School of Business - York University, and has completed the Supervisory Leadership Program at George Brown College. Furthermore, Melinda has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Honours Psychology from the University of Waterloo, where they participated in the Co-op program. In addition to their academic achievements, Melinda has obtained various certifications, including being an Insights Discovery Certified Practitioner, a Predictive Index Certified Practitioner, a Thomas Certified Practitioner (PPA, GIA, TeiQ), and a Birkman Coach.
