Prasad Kalakodimi

Prasad Kalakodimi has a strong background in the water treatment industry. Prasad began their career in 2005 at GE Power & Water, where they served as an Engineering Technical Leader. In this role, they developed corrosion inhibitors for water and oil & gas applications and worked directly with customers in a technical marketing capacity. Prasad then transitioned to the role of Product Manager, where they were responsible for the growth of five product lines in India. Prasad played a key role in understanding market needs, conducting competitive analysis, and building customer relationships. In 2013, Prasad joined ChemTreat as a Sr. R&D Leader, leading a team in developing and launching several successful products, such as FlexPro™ and FlexSperse. Prasad also served as the Director of Applied Technology & Product Line Strategy, overseeing the alignment of various functions to deliver strategic business results. Prasad worked closely with research and development teams and collaborated with marketing and sales teams to develop commercialization and marketing plans for new products. Throughout their career, Prasad has demonstrated expertise in water treatment technologies and a strong focus on customer satisfaction.

Prasad Kalakodimi has a strong background in electrochemistry. Prasad completed their Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Electrochemistry at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) from 1999 to 2003. Prasad then pursued further research as a Postdoctoral Researcher at The Ohio State University from 2004 to 2005, focusing on electrochemical studies. Additionally, they were a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Japan Science and Technology Agency from 2003 to 2004, specializing in Material Electrochemistry and Energy devices.
