Ahmed El Mahi

Ahmed El Mahi has extensive experience in the financial industry, spanning over 18 years. Most recently, they served as the Senior Portfolio Manager and Managing Director Growth Markets at Chenavari Investment Managers since August 2023. Ahmed also worked in the same company as part of the Bank Deleveraging & Structured Credit team, starting in December 2015.

Prior to that, Ahmed held the position of Vice President at The Royal Bank of Scotland from November 2009 to December 2011. Ahmed also worked as Principal Investments at Oakwood Global (later acquired by Pepper Group) from August 2008 to November 2009, and as an Associate Director at UBS Investment Bank from August 2007 to August 2008.

Ahmed's career began at Credit Suisse, where they worked as an Associate from 2004 to 2007. Throughout their career, they have gained valuable experience and expertise in various roles within the financial sector.

Ahmed El Mahi completed their Master of Public Administration (M.P.A.) at Harvard Kennedy School from 2012 to 2015. In the same period, they also obtained their Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) from MIT Sloan School of Management. Prior to that, they completed their MEng in Information Systems Engineering at Imperial College London from 2000 to 2004.
