Jiacheng Hou

Jiacheng Hou is a Postdoctoral Fellow at both the CHEO Research Institute and the University of Ottawa since November 2024. Previously, Hou served as an Associate Researcher at Huawei, focusing on literature reviews related to Large Language Models and enhancing expertise in generative AI. At the University of Ottawa, from September 2019 to May 2024, Hou worked as a Research Assistant, applying various machine learning techniques to optimize network performance and contributing to project implementation and research dissemination. Additionally, Hou has experience as a Teaching Assistant, supervising programming labs, and as a Capstone Project Supervisor, guiding students in implementing graph-based algorithms. Jiacheng Hou holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Ottawa and a Bachelor's degree in Science in Computing from Macao Polytechnic University.
