Sayma Sultana

Sayma Sultana is a Postdoctoral Fellow at Tulane University since September 2025, following a tenure as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Wayne State University from August 2020 to September 2025. Sayma has also gained experience as a Software Engineer Intern at Meta during the summer of 2024 and previously worked as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Central Florida from August 2019 to August 2020. Earlier professional experience includes a role as a Software Engineer at REVE Systems from March 2017 to April 2019, focusing on Android application development with responsibilities in developing features for instant messaging. Sayma holds a PhD in Computer Science from Wayne State University (2020-2025) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science & Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (2012-2017).
