Patricia Silva-Roy has a diverse work experience. Patricia started as a Head Lifeguard at the City of Ottawa in October 2018 and worked in that role until October 2019. In 2019, they became an Accessibility Analyst at Natural Resources Canada, where they worked until May 2021. From May 2021 to April 2022, Patricia served as a Youth Advisor at the Knowledge Institute on Child and Youth Mental Health and Addictions. Patricia then worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Ottawa from March to September 2022. Currently, Patricia works as a Research Assistant at the CHEO Research Institute, starting in April 2022.
Patricia Silva-Roy holds a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Human Kinetics, which they earned from the University of Ottawa between 2017 and 2021. Following their undergraduate studies, they pursued further education at the University of Ottawa and completed a Microprogram in Evaluation of Social and Health Programs and Policies in the field of Psychology from 2021 to 2022. Currently, Patricia is undertaking a Master of Public Health (MPH) degree at the University of Victoria, which they aim to complete between 2022 and 2025.
