Andrew Ibey

Andrew Ibey, P.Eng. is a seasoned professional in clinical engineering with extensive experience across multiple prestigious organizations. Currently serving as the Manager of Regional Clinical Engineering Services at CHEO since January 2018, Andrew has held various significant roles, including Senior Manager and CHEOWorks Quality Fellow. In academia, Andrew contributes as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Ottawa in the Mechanical Engineering Department and as an Adjunct Research Professor at Carleton University in the Systems and Computer Engineering Department. Andrew's previous roles include Acting Corporate Manager of Biomedical Engineering at The Ottawa Hospital and Affiliate Faculty at the University of British Columbia. Andrew's educational background includes a Master of Engineering in Biomedical Engineering from the University of British Columbia and an Advanced Certificate in Forensic Investigation from the British Columbia Institute of Technology, along with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from Queen's University.
