Nancy Acevedo

Nancy Acevedo currently serves as a School Therapist for Cherokee County School District since July 2022. Prior experience includes roles as a Clinical Therapist at Devereux Advanced Behavioral Health and Co Chairperson of the Legislative Committee for the Georgia Society of Clinical Social Workers. Nancy's earlier positions include serving as a Flight Attendant for Delta Air Lines, a Social Services Provider and Mental Health Intern at the Department of Juvenile Justice, and a Graduate Research Assistant at Kennesaw State University's International Policy Management Department. Nancy holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Texas Christian University, a Master’s of Social Work focused on Mental Health and Substance Abuse from Kennesaw State University, and is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Social Work at the University of Kentucky.
