Allen Tai has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Allen began their career in 2005 as a Database Specialist at JWI Investment Corp, where they managed a database of bank foreclosure properties. From 2007 to 2008, they worked as a Residential Research Analyst at FAS Realty Inc, conducting market analysis and inspections on potential investment properties.
In 2008, Allen joined The Little Cat, LLC as a Residential Research Analyst, where they prepared market research data and inspected properties. Allen co-developed a new database infrastructure to increase office efficiency.
From 2012 to 2016, Allen worked at the Institute for Law and Policy Planning as a Facility Consultant & IT Assistant. Allen conducted asset evaluations on criminal justice facilities and prepared reports for facility master plans. Allen also assisted with IT responsibilities.
In 2016, Allen joined Intel Corporation as a Hardware Engineer/Operations Lead in Facility Planning & Design. Allen retrofitted labs, designed chilled water infrastructure, and developed hardware cooling solutions.
From 2018 to 2019, Allen worked at LMI as a Sr. Analyst in Supply Chain Management and Analyst in Facilities Management. Allen supported planning and oversight efforts for facility requirements and created project plans.
In 2019, Allen joined Markon Solutions as a Real Property Analyst, auditing property entries and ensuring accuracy within records.
From 2020 to 2022, Allen worked at Booz Allen Hamilton as an Associate and then Senior Consultant in Community Planning. Allen supported defense policy initiatives and managed planning requirements for facility analysis and tracking projects.
Currently, Allen is employed at Cherokee Federal as a Community Planner, starting in 2022.

Allen Tai received a Bachelor's Degree in Urban Studies/Affairs from the University of California, Berkeley, which they attended from 2012 to 2015. Prior to that, from 2004 to 2008, they attended Chabot College where they studied Architecture without earning a degree.
