Kent Kauffman has a diverse work experience spanning over a decade. Kent started their career in the US Army as a Geospatial Analyst, where they provided technical support, database management, and web support for geospatial production. Kent also served as a GIS Manager, leading and managing a team of analysts while being a subject matter expert for standardizing visualization capabilities. After their time in the military, Kauffman worked as a Research Development and Technology professional at AgTeam Professionals. Kent then transitioned to the role of an Imagery Analyst for a USMC Contractor, responsible for managing geospatial data raster holdings and enterprise imagery. Kauffman also worked as a Geospatial Solutions Lead for a NATO Contractor, managing a geospatial support team that created GIS information for mission readiness exercises. In 2022, they became a Senior GIS Developer at Evergy, before joining Cherokee Federal as a Senior Software Engineer in 2023.
Kent Kauffman started their education at Missouri State University, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from 2001 to 2004. Following this, they attended Missouri University of Science and Technology from 2004 to 2006, where they obtained another Bachelor's degree, this time in Biology.
