Geo-spatial Analyst at Cherokee Federal

Matthew Moore, GISP has over 30 years of work experience in various roles related to geospatial analysis and GIS. Matthew started their career in 1988 as a Civil Engineering Technician Superintendent in the United States Air Force. During their time in the Air Force, they served for 20 years and gained valuable experience in managing civil engineering projects. In 2010, they worked as a GIS Graduate Research Assistant at the University of Oklahoma, where they focused on the Oklahoma Broadband Initiative and performed spatial analysis of service data.

In 2012, Matthew joined the MILITARY, OKLAHOMA DEPT OF THE as a GIS Coordinator for the Sustainable Range Program Geographic Information Systems Mission. Matthew'sresponsibilities included creating, analyzing, managing, and distributing authoritative spatial information for training strategies and missions.

During the same year, Matthew also worked at Lemke Land Surveying as a GIS Specialist. In this role, they provided cartographic support to Civil and Environmental Engineers and Surveyors. Matthew was involved in UAV aerial site collection surveys and implemented the ESRI Local Government Information Model (LGIM) GIS Database Model for municipal utilities, facilities, planning, and emergency services.

In 2019, Matthew joined Salient CRGT as a Geo-Spatial Analyst 3. Matthew worked in this role for three years, during which they utilized their technical expertise in geospatial analysis. Currently, they are employed at Cherokee Federal as a Geo-Spatial Analyst, a position they started in 2022.

Matthew Moore, GISP, earned a Master of Science (MS) degree in GeoInformatics from the University of Oklahoma from 2010 to 2012. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Geographic Information Science from Louisiana Tech University from 2008 to 2010. Matthew also holds an Associate of Science (A.S.) degree in Construction Technology from the Community College of the Air Force, which they acquired from 1998 to 2000. Matthew Moore, GISP, has additional certifications including Security+ from CompTIA obtained in January 2023, Certified sUAS Remote Pilot from FAA Part 107 Certified Pilot obtained in November 2018, and Certified Geographic Information Systems Professional (GISP) from the GIS Certification Institute (GISCI) obtained in November 2013.
