LeeAnn Dreadfulwater is a seasoned project manager with extensive experience in communications and media relations within the Cherokee Nation. Currently serving as a project manager for Cherokee Film since October 2019, LeeAnn handles script coverage and research for the Cherokee Film Commission while also acting as the archival producer for historical segments of the Emmy-winning series, Osiyo: Voices of the Cherokee People. Prior to this role, LeeAnn spent nearly two decades at Cherokee Nation, where positions included editorial liaison, communications manager, media relations coordinator, and staff development training officer, showcasing a commitment to promoting Cherokee culture and communication standards. LeeAnn holds dual Bachelor’s degrees in Mass Communication and Speech from Northeastern State University, and has pursued further education in Occupational and Adult Education at Oklahoma State University.
