Michael Valerio is a seasoned accounting professional with extensive experience in leadership roles within the finance sector. Currently serving as the Regional Market Leader and Technology Industry Practice Leader at Cherry Bekaert since January 2009, Michael focuses on helping companies manage growth through tailored accounting solutions and strategic introductions to essential stakeholders. Previous experience includes roles as Managing Partner at Tarpley & Underwood PC and Audit Manager at John H. Harland, alongside his tenure as Senior Auditor at Bennett Thrasher PC, where Michael specialized in auditing middle-market companies with revenues ranging from $15 million to $200 million. Michael holds an MBA in Finance from Georgia State University and a BS in Accounting from Bob Jones University.
