Dr Maximilian Kerz

Dr Maximilian Kerz has a diverse work experience that spans multiple industries and roles. Dr Maximilian is currently the Co-Founder & CEO of Cherry Health, a healthcare company that addresses the shortage of physicians in the industry. Prior to this, they were the Co-founder & CTO of the same company.

Dr Kerz also served as an Expert Advisor at Innovate Calgary and held various roles at Harvest Builders, including Builder Operations and Head of Builder Operations. Dr Maximilian worked at Bayer as the Chief Technologist - Digital Health G4A Partnerships and founded Vivum Health, where they led a team in making patient data available across various healthcare institutions. Additionally, they were the Lead Developer of the RADAR-CNS Frontend-Ecosystem at RADAR-CNS, a research program that explored wearable devices for the prevention and treatment of depression, multiple sclerosis, and epilepsy.

In their earlier career, Dr Kerz was a Research Assistant at King's College London, focusing on the development of image analysis algorithms for fruit fly larvae.

Dr. Maximilian Kerz began their education with a Bachelor's Degree in Molecular Genetics from King's College London, which they completed from 2011 to 2014. During this time, they also had the opportunity to study at the University of Melbourne, where they earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Molecular Genetics from 2012 to 2013.

Building upon their undergraduate education, Dr. Kerz pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Biostatistics & Health Informatics at King's College London from 2014 to 2017. Additionally, in 2016, they attended Stanford University for a focused study on Research as Design.
