M. Branden Meredith

M. Branden Meredith has extensive experience in finance and administration. M. Branden started their career as a Tax and Audit Senior Associate at CBIZ MHM, LLC in 2001, where they worked until 2012. M. Branden then served as an Audit Manager at KRT, CPAs P.C. from 2013 to 2015 and at Toal, Griffith + Ragula, LLC from 2015 to 2016.

In 2016, M. Branden Meredith joined Chesapeake Bay Maritime Museum (CBMM) as the Vice President of Finance. M. Branden later became the Vice President of Finance & Administration in 2019 and then the Acting CEO in 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Chief Financial Officer and Head of Center for Administration, leading various functions such as finance, budgeting, risk management, and human resources, among others.

During their time at CBMM, M. Branden Meredith retained over 90% of the workforce during pandemic mandated closures and economic impacts. M. Branden also fulfilled the duties of the CEO position in the CEO's absence and played a crucial role in securing funding for new construction projects. M. Branden has demonstrated strategic leadership and provided guidance to support the organization's operations effectively and efficiently.

M. Branden Meredith pursued their undergraduate studies from 1997 to 2001 at Salisbury University - Perdue School of Business. M. Branden obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting during this period. In 2003, they started their graduate studies at Baker College Center for Graduate Studies, aiming to pursue an MBA with an Accounting Concentration. As of 2005, they were still in the process of completing the degree.
