Elisa Wills, CFRE has a diverse work experience spanning over several organizations. Elisa began their career as a Campaign Director at The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society in 2004. Elisa then transitioned to the role of Executive Director at the Organization Management Group, where they managed multiple associations and implemented growth strategies. In 1998, Elisa joined the American Cancer Society and held various positions including Area Executive Director, where they successfully managed campaigns and events. From 2014 to 2018, Elisa served as the Executive Director & Vice President of Development at the American Heart Association | American Stroke Association, overseeing the Hampton Roads Board of Directors and implementing revenue-increasing strategies. Currently, Elisa is the Chief Development Officer at Chesapeake Regional Healthcare, where they lead the Chesapeake Regional Health Foundation and works with the leadership team to execute strategic plans and foster a culture of philanthropy.

Elisa Wills, CFRE, earned their Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication, Sociology/ Anthropology from Randolph Macon Woman's College in 1998. Elisa further enhanced their professional credentials by obtaining the Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) certification from CFRE International in June 2019. Additionally, Elisa holds a bCRE certification from Blackbaud, obtained in 2018.
