Maurice Bastarache

Mr. Maurice Bastarache has a strong background in information technology with over 30 years of experience. Mr. Maurice has held various leadership roles in different healthcare organizations.

From 1984 to 2000, Mr. Bastarache worked at Heywood Hospital Gardner Ma, starting as a Computer Operator and later becoming a Network Administrator / Systems Analyst. Their responsibilities included implementing, upgrading, and supporting Meditech’s financial and clinical modules, as well as providing support for end-user systems.

From 2000 to 2005, Mr. Bastarache worked as the Enterprise Imaging Systems Manager at Greenwich Hospital. Mr. Maurice oversaw the operations, support, and administration of the enterprise imaging systems. Mr. Maurice also managed the integration of the systems with the hospital's HIS system.

From 2006 to 2009, Mr. Bastarache worked as the Manager of Regional & Affiliate Support at Bassett Healthcare Network. In this role, they provided IT support to the network's affiliate hospitals, regional clinics, and school-based health centers.

Since 2009, Mr. Bastarache has been working at Chesapeake Regional Healthcare. Mr. Maurice started as an Enterprise Solutions Architect, where they evaluated and managed the organization's IT infrastructure and technology needs. Mr. Maurice then became the Director of Information Technology, responsible for developing and implementing strategic goals and objectives for the department. Currently, Mr. Bastarache serves as the Chief Information Officer, overseeing all aspects of the IT division and collaborating with business leaders to develop innovative technology solutions.

Throughout their career, Mr. Bastarache has demonstrated a strong focus on improving systems uptime, disaster recovery, and business continuity capabilities while maintaining fiscal responsibility.

From 1986 to 1998, Mr. Maurice Bastarache attended Mount Wachusett Community College, where they earned an Associate of Science degree in Business Administration and Management.
